Dinner, Theater and More

Friday was my birthday (woo-hoo), and we celebrated with class err, maybe just Dohner style!

The plan for the day was to eat all my favorite treats, then spend the evening at the theater with my family. And that is indeed what we did.

Panera Cinnamon Crunch Bagels were first on the list.

Then it was off for a day of shopping, lunch and Cupcake Couture.

Later that evening Rob joined us downtown for dinner and "A Year With Frog and Toad"!
Dinner was unfortunately not well planned and we ended up at McDonald's where I ate my first Big Mac ever.
Once my mediocre Big Mac was consumed we rushed down to the Magik Theater for my favorite part of the night.

I'm a huge fan of the theater and an even bigger fan of children's literature which makes the Magic Theater the best place to celebrate my day!
A coupon for free popcorn sweetened the pot!

When yet another amazing production was finished, we spent a few minutes under the moonlight at Hemisphere Park.

Of course no birthday would be complete without cake and presents, well more like Krispie Kreme and presents.
For some sad reason I have become in love with their seasonal Lemon Kreme Pie donut.

Finally the night ended with me opening my super chic rain boots and...

...my very own game of Bananagrams!

It was the perfect way to celebrate my special day... I love my family and am looking forward to another year of joy with them.

  3. It looks like you had a pretty nice birthday. Great! I just googled Bananagram, because I didn't know what it was before. Very interesting looking game.
