Curious Case

It's never assuring when your renown neurologist calls your daughter a "curious case", but alas he did! Before our visit today I didn't even know what questions to ask, now I have so many question's unanswered. But I will share what I do know--bare with me!

Brie's MRI was clean, no signs of stroke or bleeding--Praise God! Brie's EEG confirmed sensory seizures, but the cause is still uncertain! Although through this uncertainty we have a plan, it's called the "Wait and Watch"! Since one of the causes could be a virus were waiting until Monday to see if the issue resolves itself. If it does we'll move forward as if nothing happened, until it occurs again. If her condition is stable, but unchanged we'll follow-up Monday for a new plan involving more test. And if her condition worsens, we have his cell phone number.

Again, we covet your prayers! Momma's emotional exhausted, but God is in control!

  1. we are still praying. our God knows:)

  2. Wow. Sometimes "nothing" is better than "here is a horrible diagnosis." Praying for you all! Naomi sent out a link to your blog for the church and asked for prayers.
