Spring Break

Last week was Spring Break in San Antonio, a week dedicating to crowds, lines and traffic. So naturally I decided to be right in the midst of it all! I love to take my girls on adventures and I certainly couldn't let Spring Break be an exception to the rule!

Monday I took the girls bowling, this is where I dropped my camera one too many times and it bit the big one. You'll just have to trust me when I say they were all smiles. Well except when Brie got a strike and didn't get to bowl twice in a row.

For Tuesday's trip to Sea World I brought along an old camera to capture the fun. After fighting the traffic into the park and eating lunch I was able to photograph the girls excitment in riding the new Elmo Fish ride.

Unfortantly for momma the girls were too short to ride alone and suddenly lunch was a very bad idea!

Thankfully soon after we caught up with our friend Abby and headed to the pool for a leisurely afternoon.

The next day I decided a trip to the zoo was in order, but because of the crowds, the heat and losing momma's engagment ring we made it a short trip.

Sticking mostly to the Tiny Tot area,

And playing in the back forty!

Having enough of the crowds and lines on Thursday I decided it would be fun to go park hoping. Orginally I thought the day would involve dozen of parks, but instead we only visited three.

Woodlawn Park.

Orsinger Park.

And our favorite, Phil Hardberger Park.

"Poodle Hops"

"Alligator Bridge"

On Friday we rested, only venturing out for an evening trip to the park with Daddy.
We know daddy was there because only he would let Brie climb a tree this high!

Another great week in the world of motherhood--How about you, what did you do this Spring Break?

  1. The Lipsey Spring Break was our most interesting yet. Mike and Katy both worked! Pat went on the campout with the youth which was fun and the girls went to visit their grandparents and were very spoiled! We are now home and ready for normal!!
