Zoo School. My girl's favorite day of the month.
October's class was all about Crocodilians.
You know; Alligators, Crocodiles, and Gharials.
We learned about their length,
their snouts,
their eyes,
and their teeth. Did you know Crocodilians have five sets of teeth?
Brie got the chance to measure a mature American Alligator. He's 19 feet long. SCARY!
Briar measured the Dward Crocodile,
not nearly as long as this Nile Crocodile we spotted in the Africa Live exhibit.
What a great morning.
In fact, Brie learned so many fun facts about Crocodilians,she sculpted one in Art Class later that day.
