Meet Clucie

Instead of "Meet Clucie" the title of this blog should be "What Was I Thinking"! For you see, after months and months (years on Robert's part) of nagging, in a moment of weakness I promised the girls that once our yard was finished being re landscaped we could get an outdoor cat. I know, what was I thinking?

After the promise was made, I really couldn't go back. I've got this pet peeve about breaking my word to the girls. So, after many sleepless nights I decided to try out this thing called pet ownership.

Meet Clucie

The nice thing about Clucie is she found us. This kitty is very much a ferile cat, but the girls don't seem to mind. We set out food, watch her from afar and giggle with glee. Score one for mommy!

Hopefully this love affiar with Clucie will last, because this mommy does not want a real pet!

  1. No, she's a ferile cat that we feed!

  2. You know, the joke around my house is that N calls me "feral cat mother." Snicker. I once read that children need something to do, something to think about, and something to love every day. That's why we got a cat.
