Count Your Blessings

On Wednesday my sweet Brie was hospitalized with paralyses like symptoms in her right arm and leg. After an EEG and MRI it was determined she was having sensory seizures as a result of her Sturge-Weber. For now we're home, awaiting an appointment with her neurologist today to discuss treatment options.

While it's tough for me to pen exactly how I feel, I can say I woke up mighty early singing. Singing, "Count your blessing's name them one by one, count your many blessings see what God has done"! You see I'm blessed with a Saviour who provides me strength and peace while walking through this valley. I'm blessed with a church family who surrounds us in prayer. I'm blessed with fabulous friends who drop everything to help meet our needs. I'm blessed with a family back in MI who calmly waited for updates while no-doubt continually praying. I'm blessed with an "actuary" husband who lovingly kept me calm while the anasthesiologist listed all the risks involved to Brie's procedure. And I'm blessed with two sweet girls perfectly crafted by their Creator!

And for that I'm thankful!

I will be sure to keep family and friends updated on Brie through out this ordeal and I covet your prayers. We serve a mighty God who is in complete control. Thank you, friends!
